About Us

Malmanie Game Lodge is situated in the Waterberg Area – Bulgerivier.  We are on the Old Ellisras Road (R517) - ±65km from Lephalale (Ellisras), ±45km from Vaalwater, ± 2½ hours from Pretoria and ± 3 hours from Johannesburg. 

We offer game drives, spectacular views, hikes and so much more.

We strive to ensure a relaxing stay so that you can return home fresh and revived.  We only accommodate one group at a time to make sure you have peace and quiet.

We have Impala, Kudu, Zebra, Bushbuck, Mountain Reedbuck and Klipspringer.  We also have Bushpig, Warthog, Brown Hyena, Civet, Genet and Porcupine.  We have also spotted leopard on our trailcams and we’ve had a pack of wild dogs pass through in 2011.

For the birdwatchers there’s a wide variety of birds:

~        The Black Stork nest here in the summer months;

~        A variety of Kingfishers;

~        Steppe Buzzard;

~        Fish Eagle;

~        Red-Chested Cuckoo;
